Algorithms and strategy

BEAM-ME develops new and adapted algorithms and strategies to satisfy the rising demand on computing resources and to reduce the wall time of energy system models.

Optimizations

BEAM-ME wants to harness the vast computing resources of today’s HPC for the calculation of optimizing energy system models.

Model experiment

BEAM-ME offers 3rd party research institutions the opportunity to participate in the project by a model experiment. During the project, gathered methods, results and experiences will be continually documented and provided to the participants of the model experiment. Furthermore all participants are entitled to support in implementing the experiences in their respective ESM and for evaluation.
